Acupressure is a manual therapy technique that is used to relieve pain and muscle tension. It stimulates the body's circulatory, lymphatic and hormonal systems and is performed by using fingers gradually pressing onto meridian points around the body to simulate pain relief and muscle relaxation.

Stiff neck

Massage tender points at neck

Jian Jin GB21 (contraindication for pregnant women ), Hou Xi SI3

 

Hypertension: Dizziness, dizziness, headache from time to time

points: Feng Chi GB 20; Taiyang, which can temporary lower the higher blood pressure.

 

Diabetes: Polydipsia, polyphagia, polyuria

Yi Shu, Zusanli ST36, San Yin Jiao SP6. Massage each point for 1-3 minutes. Yi Shu is slightly heavier, to the extent that the patient can tolerate it

 

Coronary Heart Disease: Chest tightness, shortness of breath, discomfort in the precordial area

 Xin Shu Acupoint BL15, Nei Guan  PC6, Dan Zhong REN17, massage each point for 3-5 minutes. Suitable for any Coronary Heart Disease.

 

Hyperlipidemia: Dizziness, chest tightness, insomnia

REN12, BL20, REN6, massage each of them for 5-10 minutes.

 

Cold Fever: Headache, Nasal congestion

Feng Fu DU16, 3-5 minutes; If you feel cold, you can use a hair dryer to heat the acupuncture point

Rub Kong Zui LU6 for 10 minutes.

Rub He Gu LI4 for 3-5 minutes

 

Cough, Phlegm,  Nose congestion

For new disease:  Tian Tu REN22, Fei Shu BL13, Dan Zhong point REN17, pressure should be heavy

 

Asthma

Tian Tu REN22, Ding Chuan.  Massage 3-5 minutes for each of then, and once every 3-5 hours, suitable for any asthma;

Sliding cupping on the Bladder Meridian on the back can relieves asthma and strengthens the body to prevent it.

 

Belch  

PressING Ren Zhong REN26 with a cotton swab help for relieve constant hiccups;

Zhong Wan REN12, Nei Guan PC6, massage each point for 3-5 minutes, suitable for hiccups caused by any cause.

 

 

Gastralgia

Massage Zu San Li  ST36, Zhong WanREN12.

 

Constipation

 Zhong Wan REN12, Tian Shu ST25, Da Heng SP15, massage each acupoint for 3-5 minutes, once a day.

 

Diarrhoea

Tian Shu ST25, Da Heng SP15, Zu San Li ST36, daily adherence to the treatment of chronic diarrhea, or moxibustion for 5-10 minutes per acupoint, once a day or once every other day

 

Insomnia

1. insomnia, easy to wake up, timid, palpitations, easy to be feared, shortness of breath and fatigue:

Feng Chi GB20, Shen Men HT7, San Yin Jiao SP6.

Rubbing your hands up and down on your face until you get warm improves insomnia.

 

2. insomnia, accompanied by depression, breast tenderness, menstrual irregularities:

Xin Jian LR2, Qi Men LR14

 

3. insomnia, accompanied by aversion to cold, shortness of breath, pale face:

Zhu San Li ST36, Xin Shu BL15, Moxibustion till skin slightly flushed, long-term persistence, has the effect of warming qi and blood

 

4. insomnia, accompanied by constipation, diarrhea, non-digestion:

Press Zhong Wan REN12, Shang Ju Xu ST37, the time is slightly longer, the strength should not be too hard.

 

Headache

Feng Fu  DU16, Feng chi GB20;

The five-finger comb massages the meridian on the head, which can activate the qi in the head, and resists wind and evil. Can do it at anytime.
